Navigating Uplink

As powerful a messaging tool as it is, Uplink was designed to be intuitive and easy to use. There’s no need to download apps. Instead, Uplink lets your sales team safely connect with customers and leads using the native messaging apps on their smartphones.

To best utilize Uplink, you will need to know your way around the platform. Fortunately, navigating the Uplink web application is easy.

Messages

The Messages tab is what you see after you first log into Uplink and is where you’ll probably spend most of your time. From the Messages tab, you can:

  • View and manage conversations
  • Filter conversations by date or User
  • Display User conversations by Uplink Number of actual mobile number

Activity

The Activity tab is where you access detailed stats for your account’s conversations. There are a few ways to view or filter the data. You can view data for just the inbound messages, messages sent or received by specific Uplink Users, or messages exchanged over a specific period of time.

Assignment

The Assignment tab is where you set up Uplink. From the Assign Numbers tab, you can:

  • Create new Uplink Users
  • Manage existing Uplink Users
  • Assign Uplink User Numbers to Uplink Users
  • Remove Uplink User Numbers from Uplink Users
  • Monitor your Uplink Number Usage percentage

Plan

In the Plan tab you’ll find information about your Uplink account plan and usage. You can see how many SMS messages, MMS messages, and call minutes have been used on your account. It’s also where to find your Uplink Authorization Token and Uplink Organization, which you need to integrate Uplink with Salesforce.

Feedback

Clicking on the Feedback button in the lower left-hand corner will bring up a window for Uplink users to offer feedback. If you’ve experienced a bug, would like to suggest a feature, or simply want to give the Lunar team props for creating such an awesome messaging tool (😉), hit the Feedback button to message the team of “Lunartics” who created Uplink.

Help

The Help button takes you to Lunar Documentation in a new tab of your browser. From there, you’ll find a variety of useful resources, from a Quick Start Guide to instructions for integrating with Salesforce and everything in between, to help you get the most value from Uplink.

Sign Out

The Sign Out button is for signing out of your Uplink account. After clicking the button, you’ll be asked to confirm that you want to log out of your Uplink account, at which point you’re taken back to the Uplink login portal.
