What is Telescope Mini?

Telescope Mini is reduced version of our upcoming user-tracking application, Telescope. Telescope Mini tracks your site visitors. This information is then displayed on PODs in Shuttle via the "Telescope Mini" tab.

On this tab, you'll be able to see the following details:

  1. User: This section gives details on the unique visitor to the site.
    1. UID: Each user to your site will have a UID (unique identification) number assigned to them. This UID can be mapped to the Destination and be used to combine data for the same user.
    2. IP: The IP (Internet Protocol) address is a numerical label assigned to each device using the Internet. Shuttle will pull the IP Address for each user.
  2. Device: This section provides insight into what device they used to interact with your site.
    1. Browser: Displays which web browser (and corresponding version) was used to visit the site.
    2. Device: Displays which device (and corresponding operating system) was used to visit the site.
  3. Variables: This section presents the UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) variables in order to track the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns across traffic sources and publishing media. These variables can be mapped to the destination as well.
  4. Click Path: This section lists the user's visit history on your site. This is presented in chronological order of their behavior. It shows the pages they viewed, the actions they completed on those pages, and the timestamp for that particular visit.
In order to see Telescope Mini data, you need to first setup Telescope Mini on your site
