Uplink Number vs. Real Number

In Uplink, a Real Number is an Uplink User’s actual phone number. It’s the number the User’s family and friends use to communicate with him or her. Without Uplink, Users would be forced to share their Real Numbers with to communicate, which would compromise their privacy.

Uplink maintains the convenience of one-to-one messaging between your clients and team members while also maintaining your team’s privacy by assigning each User his or her own Uplink Number.

Instead of giving out Real Numbers, you can provide Uplink Numbers. Uplink relays all the SMS and MMS messages — and even phone calls — to/from Users’ Real Numbers through their individual Uplink Numbers.
