What are Relays?
Relays allow you to control your data. Using relay fields and mapping, you can take Source data and store it in Relay fields across all of your Sources. With this, you can normalize your data across your entire Organization. Relays are basically a field for data that you control. Being between the Source and at the Destination, you have more flexibility to make the data suit your desires.
For example, you could have one Source with a "first_last_name" field and another Source with a "name" field. Both of those fields could then map to a "Full Name" Relay field. Regardless of the naming of the Destination fields, you could map any Destination field to the "Full Name" Relay. This allows you to know what data you're sending to a Destination in an organized and consistent way.
Navigate to the Relays screen by choosing "Relays" from Shuttle's menu. The Relays screen will show you a list of all the Relays in your Shuttle organization. A filter menu is available on the left to help you control what appears on the Relays screen. The screen will display the following for each Relay:
